Uniformed Services Family Health Plan (USFHP) is a Department of Defense sponsored health

plan made available by nonprofit healthcare providers in six service areas across the country.

Since 1981, USFHP has experience in providing healthcare to military beneficiaries. It offers the

TRICARE Prime benefit to active-duty family members, including activated Guard and Reserve

family members, and retirees and their family members.

 

In its over three-decade history with DoD, the USFHP has evolved from designated public health

service facilities serving as extensions of military treatment facilities, to a forward-leaning

healthcare plan utilizing the most current innovations in healthcare delivery.

USFHP actively partners with and support multiple military and veteran organizations including:

AUSA, The National Guard (NJ, NY, PA and CT), Operation Homefront, Blue Star Families, ROA,

TTA Empire, Military One Source, Retiree Appreciation Events, Pre and Post Yellow Ribbon
