A new smartphone app might make your AUSA Annual Meeting experience a little better and keep you more connected to fellow members of the Association of the U.S. Army.

Available from Apple’s app store and Google Play store, the application has features that make it especially worth downloading for the Oct. 9–11 Annual Meeting and Exposition that will be held in Washington, D.C. It also includes AUSA Connect, a hub for all members to share information about their chapter activities and network with others year-round.

The application can be found by searching for “Association of the U.S. Army,” or by visiting www.ausa.org/mobile.

For those attending the annual meeting or monitoring the event from afar, the app gives access to a constantly updated agenda, maps of the exhibit halls, searchable lists of exhibitors and sponsors, biographies of speakers, a guide to local attractions and a photo feed.

A real-time activity dashboard will make those who aren’t attending feel like full participants.

AUSA will hold two competitions during the annual meeting aimed at app users. One will award prizes to top social media participants. The second is a walking challenge seeing who takes the most steps each day over the three-day event.

A web version of the application is available here: www.ausa.org/webapp

A guide to using the app is available here: www.ausa.org/mobile
