Lt. Col. Shaw S. Pick is a signal officer serving in the Commander’s Initiatives Group at Special Operations Command. He has served eight years in special operations assignments with both 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and  U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (Airborne). He holds a master’s degree in theater operations from the U.S. Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
