Staff Sgt. Eric N. Hunt is a rifle squad leader and unit career counselor in the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. He deployed to Iraq for a total of 29 months as an automatic rifleman with the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team and as a fire team leader with the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. He was the Georgia National Guard’s 2014 NCO of the Year and is an undergraduate student of international studies at Oglethorpe University.
