AUSA 2019 Features Forums with Senior Army Leaders

Nine contemporary military forums are scheduled for the 2019 Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition, featuring pressing subjects about the future force.

All of the forums are hosted by AUSA’s Institute of Land Warfare.

On Oct. 14, readiness and people will be the topics of the contemporary military forums.

Lt. Dan Band to Perform at AUSA 2019

Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band will be returning to the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting and Exposition in October.

Founded by Sinise and Kimo Williams, the cover band is set to perform from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 in the grand ballroom at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The concert is free to anyone registered to attend the AUSA annual meeting.

The AUSA Annual Meeting takes place Oct. 14-16 at the convention center.

AUSA 2019 Offers Several Family Forums

This year’s Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition will feature several family readiness-focused events.

“This is an important time for Army families,” said Patty Barron, director of AUSA’s Family Readiness directorate. “With so many changes happening with Army family programs, issues with housing and PCS moves, and a brand-new Army leadership team, the forums could not be more spot on.”

Register Now for AUSA 2019

Time is running out to register online for this year’s Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition.

AUSA’s biggest event will take place Oct. 14-16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The advanced registration deadline is 8 p.m. Eastern Oct. 8. After that, registration must be done in person beginning at 8 a.m. Oct. 11 at the convention center.

xTechSearch Takes Stage at AUSA 2019

The latest entrants in the technology search competition sponsored by the Army to help advance its modernization priorities will demonstrate their innovations during the upcoming Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition.

The Expeditionary Technology Search, known as xTechSearch, invites small nondefense companies to demonstrate technologies and nontraditional innovators who can work with the Army to modernize the force.

AUSA Annual Meeting Features Job Fair for Vets, Spouses

The seventh annual Warriors to the Workforce (Washington D.C.) job fair will take place during the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting this fall.

Hosted by the American Freedom Foundation, the event will be held Oct. 14-16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The three-day event will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. It will bring together major companies from throughout the country to profile their services and provide employment opportunities for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses.
